Charles DeLisle, Ph.D.

Charles DeLisle is an experimental biophysicist who specializes in protein biochemistry, bottom-up drug discovery, and biomolecular nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). He holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science and chemistry from Grand Valley State University, as well as a master’s in chemistry and Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has been with New Equilibrium Biosciences since the very beginning, building out the laboratory space and experimental components of the computation platform. When Charles isn’t designing experiments at New Equilibrium, you can find him taking his chemistry skills outside of the lab, mixing up new and creative craft cocktails as a freelance mixologist.
