We are seeking an experimental biochemist with 7+ years of biotech/pharma R&D experience to join our growing team starting in March-April 2021. You should be comfortable leading scientific projects, working independently and within a team, and managing CROs. Beyond direct technical expertise in protein expression/purification and assay design, you should also be passionate about discovering novel therapeutics through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in biotech/pharma (may include postdoctoral research), or M.S. with 10+ years of industry experience
  • Demonstrated impact in a drug discovery setting
  • Experience with resource management and utilizing CROs
  • Significant experience with:
    • Prokaryotic and eukaryotic (insect & mammalian) recombinant protein construct design, expression, and purification
    • Design/Development of enzymatic activity and protein-ligand interaction assays
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for independently developing protocols
  • Positive attitude and a passion for discovering novel therapeutics

Desired Qualifications
