NEW EQUILIBRIUM TEam
Tao Jiang, Ph.D.

Dr. Jiang received her Ph.D. degree in Biophysics and Computational Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana−Champaign in 2017, where she gained strong computational modeling and simulations background. She then pursued her postdoctoral research at the NIH Center for Macromolecular Modeling and Bioinformatics, focusing on conducting molecular dynamics (MD) simulations with high performance supercomputing resources to characterize the structural dynamics, substrate translocation, and lipid modulations of membrane proteins. Her research interests include the application of computational modeling and advanced simulation techniques to understand the dynamical properties and functional mechanisms of membrane transport machineries, such as channels, transporters, and phospholipid scramblases.
